Our Story

We founded Amaltaskin with one goal in mind: to create skincare that offers a high-quality, result-driven and sensorial experience while remaining thoughtful and accessible.

From the beginning, our approach has been guided by a simple belief — that skincare should feel beautiful to use, while meaningfully supporting the skin over time.

Indian skin has its own distinct needs. Higher melanin activity, frequent exposure to heat, humidity, pollution and UV stress can make concerns such as pigmentation, uneven tone, dehydration and barrier fatigue more persistent and often more difficult to manage.

This understanding shaped the foundation of our formulations.

Many of our botanical choices are inspired by India’s long-standing Ayurvedic heritage, where plants have traditionally been valued for supporting skin balance and resilience. At Amaltaskin, this heritage is approached through a modern formulation lens — selecting botanicals not only for their traditional relevance, but for how they can be meaningfully used in contemporary skincare.

For a long time, skincare has often been placed at opposite ends — natural on one side, science-backed on the other.
